Phase 2, "Bulk Up" is complete!...
And it looks like a mummy. XD
From the original gourd assembly:
I added waded blank newsprint and masking tape to fill in the appropriate shape. The shoulders, belly, and hips were my focus. The feet and head will be left for Phase 3, sculpting details. I used atleast 50 sheets of full sized newsprint and 6.5 rolls of masking tape....a little excessive? Why yes, but I've always been a monster with tape. XD SO MUCH FUN. This part took me around 15 hours. Technically the easiest part of the process.
Currently ongoing is Phase 3, and it's where the clay comes in. I'll update you again once that part is done!

excessive tape is fun! i wasted a brand new roll of duct tape and a whole roll of masking tape to make a full scale halo helmet XD my finders were so sore but it was fun!! i totally know the feeling!
